With KOMODO recordings, making a professional CD is a breeze. With teaching experience of our own, we understand that the last thing a teacher needs is hassle. From the recording to the delivery of the finished product, KOMODO takes care of everything, even to the extent of customised finance schemes. We have recorded many school CDs of different types and sizes, from well-practiced senior choirs to primary school recorder groups. Although many teachers are unsure as to whether their pupils are well-practiced enough o make a CD, all of our customers to date have been absolutely delighted with the end results, as are the parents and heads of the schools.


Well before the booked date, we visit your school to find an appropriate room for the recording, as well as checking that any instruments to accompany the children are in a fit state to feature on the CD (the noises generated by old pianos that have never been noticed before become surprisingly obvious during a recording…) If necessary we can provide a drumkit, a weighted keyboard and amplifiers.

On the day(s) of the recording(s), we arrive early to set up so that the kids can turn up, warm up, and get straight into the recording. We fit the recording session around your timetable, as we understand that the school has to keep running on the day of the recording. Usually the entire recording is completed in one day, but we are open to extra days if necessary.

Although most recordings can be completed in one day at your school, some may require the later addition of a solo part or a voiceover. KOMODO studios can cope with anything from a voiceover to a full rock band and is available for any additional parts for all of our school finance scheme customers at no extra cost.



You can either design your own, or we can help you put together graphics for your CD. KOMODO takes care of the whole process.

If you are designing your own graphics, please submit the element of the design (layers) seperately, as we often need to make small changes which cannot be made if the text is embedded in the background.

KOMODO offers Sound Reinforcement to our school customers at reduced prices. We are fully mobile and can cater for any type of concert that a school might be involved in. Thanks to our responsible approach to sound reinforcement, we can promise to ‘reinforce' your sound for the audience, and NOT detract from what is going on on-stage or deafen everyone.
